The 1.4 Litre extinguisher forms part of the Firexo Motorsport Range – the only comprehensive line of all-fires portable hand-held extinguishers fully approved to Fédération Internationale de l’Automobile (FIA) 8865-2015 standards.
This model is approved across all five FIA fire classes (I–V), providing certified all-in-one protection for motorsport applications. Engineered for high-vibration environments, it features a magnetic hose retainer to ensure secure positioning with instant deployment.

Hold upright and pull out safety pin.
Free hose and aim at base of fire.
Squeeze handle and sweep side to side.
QuickStart Product Setup
- The 1.4L Motorsport product requires the hose attachment to be fitted. Simply screw into the valve fitting at the top of the extinguisher by hand. Do not overtighten.
- The extinguisher support bracket is available from the range of Firexo specialist accessories.
- Firexo liquid is a revolutionary aqueous based extinguishing solution that is globally patented and protected.
- Do not remove any components or safety tags from the extinguisher before using it in case of emergency.
- Visually inspect the extinguisher for signs of damage or other issue that may compromise performance. The pressure gauge should show the needle in the green section.
- Take time to familiarize yourself with the directions, storage and maintenance information printed on the extinguisher. Failure to do so may compromise the product and/or invalidate the warranty.
Information
- Firexo 1.4L Motorsport Extinguisher has a 6yr manufacturer’s warranty – refilled every 2 years. The date of purchase would be the commencement date for the warranty period.
- We recommend that you regularly check your extinguisher for signs of wear and tear, tampering or defect etc. and replace when necessary.
- Store extinguisher upright. Do not remove base.

- The nature of the pressurised vessel requires sensible and standard safety, servicing and maintenance protocol to be followed.
- Please be assured, while strong enough to maintain the integrity of the vessel in transit and in-situ etc. it will break under moderate force when required.
- It is normal for the pressure to fluctuate slightly during transit etc. but should always return to the green zone when the unit is returned to stable, ambient conditions.

- Your Firexo Extinguisher is suitable for ALL FIRES, indoors and outdoors. However, in the event of a fire, please do not take unnecessary risks. Evacuate and call the fire service immediately.
- It is recommended that you have adequate fire protection cover for the level of fire risk applicable to your situation.
